The College of the State Bar of Texas is an honorary society of lawyers who are among the best trained attorneys in Texas. Members are qualified attorneys who are interested in both high ethical standards and improved training for all Texas attorneys. Members are Texas lawyers who attend at least double the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) required by the State Bar of Texas.
Members of the State Bar College believe that more education makes better lawyers. Our goal is to raise the bar of the State Bar of Texas. We want all Texas lawyers to be better educated than the lawyers of any other venue. Members participate in far more hours of CLE and encourage all Texas lawyers to follow suit.
